Travis and his sons built "Blue Finn", a historical wooden boat, as one of many backyard gonzo projects. The boat appeared on the 2019 season of CBS/Netflix's Dynasty and Klavohn Carpentry was born.

Our Team
Travis Klavohn - Owner & Master CabinetmakerTravis’s love of fine woodworking is the driving force behind our business. He oversees and is involved with every aspect of the business from client relations, business management, technical design, material selection, and most importantly making beautiful cabinets.
Travis holds an MBA from the University of Georgia and a BA from the University of South Carolina. He learned fine woodworking and design as an apprentice at M. Craig Cabinetmakers in Columbia, South Carolina. |
Nicholas Klavohn - Chief of Design & Artisan CabinetmakerNicholas is the brains of the outfit. Apart from building beautiful cabinets with unsurpassed precision, he uses his technical skills as an engineer to guide drafting and design, scale-up for large projects, workplace safety, environmental impact analysis, and chemistries for wood finishes.
Nicholas holds a BS from Georgia Tech with Highest Honors with a major in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. |
Cindy Lassiter - Project Manager, BookkeeperCindy manages the books and makes sure the bills get paid. Cindy 12 years of experience managing construction projects at the highest level. She holds a BBA from Emory University with a concentration in Finance.
