Every client is unique. Every project is challenging. Our process is tried and true.
First, We Listen
Tell us your hopes and dreams with your home. During our first conversation, typically a phone call, we hope to learn what objectives you are trying to achieve with your home and how you think you might solve them. We do not sell. Instead, we are looking for good projects. A good project has a well-defined scope, adds value to your home and community, and is a good fit with our portfolio. If your project meets these criteria, we will offer a free in-person estimate. If the project is not a good fit, we will tell you that too.
In-Person Estimate
Estimates are free for projects we think are a good fit. We visit your home to review the scope, take measurements, review the work space, check for other trades which may affect the project (i.e. electrical, HVAC, countertops). A significant part of the in-person estimate is seeing your home, getting to know your style, the things you like, and the neighborhood. These factors influence our style recommendations so that what we create fits your existing decor.
Contracting
Happy clients come from excellent communication. And excellent communication comes from contracts. We will clearly define in writing our scope of work, assumptions made, as well as our responsibilities.
Production
The first part of production is design and drafting. Most projects include drafting services with unlimited revisions until they meet your approval. The final draft will have precise measurements and material specifications which are used for build specifications.
When possible, we produce all work including construction, parts storage, and finishing at Klavohn Studios, an 1,800 square feet industrial space in Acworth, GA. Performing work in our shop ensures access to the best machinery and materials in a work environment which is both safe and secure. That means the final product arrives at your home for plug-and-play installation.

Installation
Installation day is always exciting. The final product arrives and you get to see and use your beautiful custom cabinets. But, you need to know what to expect on installation day. Depending on the project, we may remove your molding, cut your flooring, relocate electrical outlets, or use very loud tools. We may take up your garage for a day with heavy equipment. But, its worth it! A typical installation takes one day for install and a following day for trim and touch-up. We will advise you on what to expect and coordinate so that installation day is as smooth as possible.
Referrals
We strive for excellence on every project. We measure client satisfaction by your willingness to refer future clients to us.
